Etihad Airways has always prioritised quality, and it shows in all aspects of the airline, including its beautifully designed cabin crew uniform. The cabin crew uniform at Etihad Airways reflects elegance, modernity, grace, and sophistication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Etihad Airways\u2019 uniform, designed by Italian designer Ettore Bilotta, is made with rich fabric and tailored to perfection. Every airhostess appointed by the airline is given a stash of cabin crew essentials. All the crew members are given a cabin stroller, a big Etihad-branded suitcase, and a vanity\/beauty bag. The big suitcase comes with all the essential parts of the uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For female cabin crew the bag includes \u2013 one hat, two nameplates, two scarves, one crew bag tag, two types of footwear (one pair of heels for pre-take off duties and flats for comfort during the flight operations), six blouses, two blazers, three skirts, one trouser, one set of pyjamas for rest during long-haul flights, one cardigan, one trench coat, one pair of gloves and three aprons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For male cabin crew, the big stroller includes two name badges, one crew bag tag, two vests, four shirts, two pants, two ties, two blazers, one trench coat, one pair of gloves, two pairs of shoes, and a cabin stroller bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tailored in a deep, elegant brown, the cabin crew uniform represents the airline\u2019s signature colour palette. Also, there are slight differences in the uniform accessories depending on the cabin crew rank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Etihad Airways\u2019 cabin crew is known as one of the best-groomed in the industry. They have clear guidelines for makeup and styling. The hair needs to be neatly tied in tight buns. If open, the hair length cannot touch the shirt collar. The nails should always be well-manicured and short. The nails should always be polished in neutral shades. For accessories, crew members can wear pearl or diamond stud earrings to keep the look sophisticated and elegant. The men need to cut their hair short, keep it minimally styled, and keep it neat and tidy. They are allowed to keep a beard, but under strict grooming rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All crew members are allowed to wear a discreet watch with a small dial. For jewellery, a maximum of two rings is allowed; no bracelets or necklaces are allowed. No piercing or tattoos should show through the uniform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to providing all the essentials for uniforms, the company also offers a complimentary laundry service. The employees themselves can only drop off and pick up their uniforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The crew members are evaluated every six months to ensure all image, style, and decorum rules are strictly followed. Any negative evaluation can affect the crew member\u2019s profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, it is important to note that employees must return all uniform items when they leave the company. All items are duly counted, and any missing piece is charged for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
